Legal Aid South Africa is seeking two Junior K2 Developers to join its Information Systems Department at the National Office in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, on a three-year contract. As a key contributor to constitutional democracy, Legal Aid SA provides legal services to vulnerable populations across all nine provinces. The successful candidates will support the automation of business processes using K2 technologies, contribute to system development and maintenance, assist in documentation and testing, and collaborate with the IS team to manage service requests and incidents. Responsibilities

• Assist in gathering and documenting user requirements for business process automation using K2
• Support the development and maintenance of K2 SmartForms, Workflows, Views and SmartObjects
• Assist in creating functional specifications and basic technical documentation under guidance
• Support software testing and logging of test results, ensuring compliance with the IS Software Change Management Policy
• Provide basic application support and troubleshoot workflow-related issues
• Participate in deployments and updates to K2 solutions with guidance from senior team members
• Support data analysis and reporting tasks through K2 and Microsoft SQL Server
• Collaborate with the IS team to manage incidents and service requests
• Continuously develop technical and business process knowledge
• Expected to work extended hours when required

Qualifications

• National Senior/Matric Certificate plus a three-year tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 1 to 2 years’ relevant experience in software development or business process automation
• Exposure to or knowledge of Microsoft
• NET C# (ASP
• NET, MVC or Windows Forms)
• Exposure to or knowledge of K2 development (SmartForms, Workflows, SmartObjects)
• Exposure to or knowledge of SharePoint 2013 or higher
• Exposure to or knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server (2014 or higher)
• Basic understanding of system design, testing and business processes
